flux-video-edit
FLUX Video Edit transforms an existing clip from a text instruction, changing only what the prompt names and leaving the rest of the shot as it was filmed. Length, framing, camera movement, timing and the source audio track all carry through untouched, so an edit lands on the original performance instead of regenerating it.
The edit vocabulary covers removing, adding or replacing objects and characters, rebuilding a setting, rewriting on-screen signage and labels, changing colours, materials, lighting and weather, restyling a whole clip, altering the action, and rewriting or translating dialogue with lip sync. Several changes can be requested in one prompt and are applied in a single pass, and a result can be fed back in as the source to develop a shot in stages.
Output follows the source: the same duration and aspect ratio at 24 fps, downscaled to 720p when the source is larger. Sources are limited to 15 seconds and 50 MB, at least 160 pixels on each side and at least 17 frames, and anything longer than 15 seconds is rejected rather than trimmed. Duration, resolution and aspect ratio cannot be set, image and audio inputs are not accepted, and masks, style or motion references and extending a clip are not supported. New dialogue cannot run longer than the line it replaces.

- Sync
- Async
- Async with SSE
This blocks until the video is ready (typically 5-15 minutes). Prefer Async or Async with SSE for anything beyond quick experimentation.See the video generation reference for more details.
